Hamas: Netanyahu is responsible for the delay in finding the bodies of Israeli prisoners.
The Hamas movement announced on Friday morning that the process of handing over the bodies of Israeli prisoners may take time, as some of the bodies were buried in tunnels that were destroyed by the Israeli regime’s bombing, while others are still under rubble.
Hamas emphasized that retrieving the remaining bodies requires heavy equipment and machinery for clearing rubble, but these facilities are not available due to the Israeli regime’s prevention of their entry into Gaza.
The resistance movement warned that any delay in handing over the bodies is the responsibility of the Netanyahu government, as the government is deliberately obstructing the necessary conditions for this humanitarian action.
Hamas, while declaring its full commitment to the agreement regarding the handover of the bodies, emphasized that the Netanyahu government is hindering the resistance’s humanitarian efforts to find and hand over all the remaining bodies with deliberate policies and repeated obstructions.
Two days ago, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, issued a statement announcing that the resistance was fully adhering to the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
The statement stated: All living Zionist prisoners in the hands of the resistance have been handed over, and the handover of the remaining bodies requires more extensive efforts and the use of special equipment to search for and extract them.
The Al-Qassam Brigades emphasized that the resistance is making every effort to close this humanitarian case.
