PNN – The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said in a statement that the Zionist regime is still holding the bodies of hundreds of Palestinian martyrs and refuses to hand them over to their families, an act that constitutes a barbaric crime and a clear violation of human values.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al-Ahed news website, Fawzi Barhoum, spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, described the refusal of the Zionist regime to return the bodies of Palestinian martyrs as a crime that exposes its sadistic nature.
He also called for pressure to be exerted on the Zionist regime in all forums to recover the bodies of the Palestinian martyrs.
He said that the failure to hand over the bodies of the martyrs by the Jerusalem-occupying regime is a heinous crime that adds to the series of its brutal crimes against the Palestinian people and reveals the true face of this usurping and terrorist regime.
The Hamas spokesperson added that this action by the Zionist regime is a violation and disregard of all international norms and conventions. He stressed that this Zionist policy is nothing but a desperate attempt, but Palestinians will continue their struggle and resistance until the Zionists are expelled from Palestinian land and holy sites.
Barhoum further emphasized that the Palestinian people and all freedom-seeking forces outside Palestine are called upon to continue their movement and activities against the Zionist regime and to demand the recovery of the bodies of the martyrs.
He also called on all humanitarian institutions and human rights organizations to take serious action to pressure the Jerusalem occupiers and force them to be held accountable for this natural and legitimate right of the Palestinian people.
It is worth noting that the Zionist regime is holding the bodies of more than 100 Palestinian martyrs but refuses to hand them over to Palestinian families.
