PNN – The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) emphasized: October 7th is a historical turning point in the struggle of the Palestinian people against the Zionist occupation.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting from Al Jazeera, the Hamas movement added in its statement on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Al-Aqsa storm operation: Al-Aqsa storm operation was a natural response to the plans of the Zionists, which were planned with the aim of destroying the Palestinian issue.
This movement pointed out that “since October 7th and during the past year, the Zionist enemy has committed the most heinous crimes and massacres and launched the most terrible war of genocide against the people of Gaza”, and added: The resistance of the great Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their support for their resistance has thwarted all the plans of the occupiers to displace and destroy the rights and ideals of the Palestinian people.
In another part of this statement, it is stated: The cowardly terror crimes committed by the occupying regime of Israel against the leaders and symbols of the resistance only increase our strength, strength and determination to confront the occupying regime.

The Hamas movement added: We have made many efforts to stop the aggression and end the suffering of the people of Gaza, and these efforts are still ongoing, and the Hamas movement has responded positively to all initiatives, while at the same time insisting on the permanent cessation of attacks and the complete withdrawal of the enemy.
The Palestinian resistance led by Hamas launched a unique surprise operation at dawn on the 7th of October 2023 by attacking Zionist settlements near Gaza and captured dozens of Zionists while capturing Israeli army bases.
After the start of the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation by the Palestinian resistance on October 7th, the Zionist regime authorities on the same day, thinking that they could destroy the resistance groups in a few days and thus take Gaza under their control, started heavy airstrikes.
The Zionist regime has started a devastating war against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. During this period, 70% of the houses and infrastructures of the Gaza Strip were severely destroyed in this war, and the miserable siege and severe humanitarian crisis, along with the unprecedented famine and hunger, threaten the lives of the residents of this area.
Despite all these crimes, the Zionist regime has admitted that after about 12 months of war, it has not yet been able to achieve its goals of this war, which is to destroy the Hamas movement and return the Zionist prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
