Hamas official: We knew that after the exchange of prisoners, the attack on Gaza would begin

PNN – The head of the Office of Martyrs, Prisoners and Wounded of the Hamas movement warned the Zionist regime that if the attack on Gaza continues, there will be no exchange of prisoners.

According to Pakistan News Network, Zaher Jabarin, the head of the Office of Martyrs, Prisoners and Wounded of Hamas, emphasized that the resistance is ready to pay the price of freedom and will not settle for anything less than Palestinian independence.

Emphasizing the need to end the occupation in Palestine, Jabarin said: We knew that after the exchange of civilian prisoners, the attack on Gaza will begin again.

On Friday, on the 56th day since the beginning of the Zionist invasion of the Gaza Strip, the Zionist regime resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip after a week-long ceasefire.

A day earlier, the seventh stage of the prisoner exchange between Hamas and the Zionist regime took place, during which the Zionists released 30 Palestinians and eight Israelis were released.

Stating that if the attack on Gaza continues, there will be no exchange of prisoners, Jabarin clarified: We are in a war of liberation and Israel must leave our land.

This Hamas official also announced that this movement had proposed to the Israeli side that prisoners over 60 years of age be released from both sides.

At the same time, Jabarin said that the efforts for a cease-fire and exchange of prisoners in Qatar are continuing in order to prevent the continued aggression of the Zionists in Gaza.

An Israeli political source claimed today that “Tel Aviv is ready for more ceasefires and is negotiating about the prisoners; “The ball is now in Hamas’s court.”

Despite this source’s claim, Israeli sources reported that the Mossad delegation, which was present in Qatar for prisoner exchange negotiations, left this country and returned to occupied Palestine.
