Hamas officially complains to the British government about labeling the movement a terrorist organization

PNN – The Islamic resistance movement Hamas announced that it had filed a legal complaint with the British Home Office, describing the country’s 2021 decision to designate the movement as terrorist as “unfair” and “biased.”

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, the Hamas movement announced that it has appointed a legal team to investigate the British Home Office’s decision to include the movement’s name on the list of banned groups.

This decision, made in October 2021, has been described by Hamas as “unconstitutional” and an example of London’s blatant bias towards the Zionist regime.

Hamas also emphasized that Britain’s action in labeling the movement a terrorist organization negates the principles of international law and the right of nations to resist occupation and determine their own destiny.

In its statement, the movement held Britain responsible for the historical catastrophe of the displacement of the Palestinian people and stated that London’s biased policies continue.

Hamas, while appreciating the public support in Britain, condemned the suppression of freedom of expression and humanitarian activities in the country and called for an end to these restrictions.

In conclusion, Hamas called on the London government to “make amends for its historical mistakes” and reverse the unjust decision to label the legitimate Palestinian resistance as terrorist.
