According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Information Center, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas emphasized in a statement on the occasion of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of martyr Yahya Sinwar (Abu Ibrahim), the former head of the movement’s political bureau: The flame of the “Al-Aqsa Storm” will not be extinguished, and the blood of the martyred leaders will make the path of resistance more solid for future generations. The statement said: A year has passed since the heroic epic that the world witnessed; an epic whose hero was the commander of the battle of “Al-Aqsa Storm”, the martyr Yahya Sinwar – the one who ended his life of jihad and struggle with martyrdom; standing in the heart of the battle, holding his staff in his hand, and courageously resisting the power and crime of the occupiers.

The untold stories of Sinwar’s life: How Hamas’ number one man became the Zionists’ nightmare?
It has now been a year since the martyrdom of this great national commander, while our nation, with patience, perseverance, and steadfastness, and the Palestinian resistance with strength and courage, were able to achieve a national achievement and a great agreement that thwarted all the enemy’s plans to invade our land and nation. An agreement that ended a war of genocide, starvation, and forced displacement, and brought about the prisoner exchange known as the Storm of Freedom—an agreement that freed 1,668 Palestinian prisoners and shattered the pride of the Zionist jailer.
Hamas added: On the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the heroic and courageous Mujahideen commander, Yahya Sinwar, we proudly and proudly commemorate his fruitful life and path of struggle; he lived in the field of jihad from his youth and, during 23 years of captivity, with perseverance and perseverance, crushed the Zionist jailers. After his release from prison, he continued the path of preparation, organization, and planning until finally, at dawn on October 7, 2023, he marked the day that crushed the occupying regime, shook its structure, and destroyed the myth of its army’s invincibility, until he was finally martyred on the same battlefield, while fighting among its fighters.
The movement continued: We emphasize that the martyrdom of Commander Yahya Sinwar and other leaders and figures of the movement who walked before him on the path of jihad and freedom will only increase our strength, perseverance, and determination, and that of our nation and resistance, to continue their path and be loyal to their blood and sacrifice.
The flame of “Al-Aqsa Storm” will always remain ablaze, burning with a spirit of insistence on rights, principles, and national unity and its fire in the heart of our great nation will never be extinguished – even though the sacrifices are heavy and the enemy’s power is increasing. We remain committed to our covenant with the martyred leaders; the flag will never fall to the ground, but will remain raised and waving, so that all the children of our nation may carry it and defend it from generation to generation, until complete freedom and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital are achieved.
Hamas emphasized: On the first anniversary of your martyrdom, O Abu Ibrahim, rest in peace, for you fulfilled your trust, fought in the way of God, pulled down the enemy’s flag, shattered his pride, and shook the foundations of his alleged existence. Although your body is not among us in Gaza, your spirit, flying in the skies, testifies that the blood of martyrs writes the eternal glory of Palestine and the nation. The enemy failed to achieve its aggressive goals in the land of Gaza and was finally forced to accept a ceasefire, while it only regained its prisoners based on the will and conditions of the resistance.
The statement concludes: May mercy, honor, and immortality rest on the soul of the heroic martyr commander Yahya Sinwar (Abu Ibrahim) and on all the caravans of martyrs from among the leaders, sons of our nation and community. We ask God Almighty to place them in the highest paradise, alongside the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous; and what good companions they are.
