Hamas: Punishing Israel was Iran’s natural and legitimate right.
According to the Al-Mayadeen news site, the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas, issuing a statement, assessed Iran’s missile and drone attack on the occupied territories as a natural and legitimate response to the regime’s aggression against the Iranian embassy in Damascus.
This statement emphasized the right of the nations of the region to defend themselves against Israel’s aggressions and called on all currents of the Islamic Ummah to continue supporting the resistance and operation of the Al-Aqsa storm.
The resistance committees in Palestine also considered Iran’s reaction to the Zionists’ attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus necessary and congratulated this operation.
The Palestinian resistance committees considered Iran’s reaction as self-defense and the legitimate and original right of the Islamic Republic and emphasized that this is the right granted to Iran by international laws and charters.
The statement stated that Iran’s reaction emphasizes that we are in a new situation and a proud and historic moment that was established by the Al-Aqsa storm operation.
Last night, in response to the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack on Tehran’s consulate in Damascus, Iran carried out combined missile and drone attacks against different areas of the occupied territories.
