Hamas reaffirms the four conditions for a ceasefire in Gaza’
A Hamas leader announced: Hamas is ready for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza by accepting some amendments in the ceasefire plan proposed by US President Joe Biden.
“Jihad Taha”, the official spokesman of the Hamas movement, in an interview with Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed TV, once again spoke about Hamas’ adherence to the national demands and the four conditions of the Palestinian resistance, i.e. the complete cessation of the war, the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, the return of the refugees to their places of residence and He emphasized the increase in the arrival of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the beginning of the reconstruction of this barrier.
He emphasized that “the amendments presented by Hamas to the proposed cease-fire plan by Biden and the prisoner exchange clauses confirm the necessity of a cease-fire in Gaza.”
The official spokesman of the Hamas movement stated: As usual, the occupiers are trying to defeat any proposal to stop the war, and this is the obvious reason that they want to continue their attacks on the Gaza strip.
This Palestinian official added: Hamas’ adherence to the proposal is subject to ending the attacks; A proposal that includes a permanent ceasefire, the complete withdrawal of the occupiers from the Gaza Strip, the arrival of aid convoys, the reconstruction of Gaza and the exchange of prisoners.
Taha noted: The amendments presented by the Hamas movement and the resistance groups in response to the proposed plan have been considered and confirm the necessity of a ceasefire.
A few hours ago, Osama Hamdan, one of the leaders of Hamas, announced that the occupiers are preventing the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza.
He added: Blinken proved that he is part of the problem, not the solution. We informed the mediators that it is the Zionist regime that opposes the proposed plans. The American government is accompanying the occupying regime in order to avoid any obligations related to the cease-fire agreement in Gaza.
Hamdan said: “The day after the Palestinian war will be and we will decide about our situation and future.” We ask the mediators to give guarantees that prevent the occupying regime from running away from its responsibilities. It is the Zionist regime that prevents the ceasefire agreement.
He also added: In the plan proposed by the Zionist enemy, a temporary cease-fire is emphasized so that this regime can regain its breath and resume the war.
