It has now been one year since the martyrdom of the great national leader, the martyr of Gaza, Palestine, and the Islamic nation, Ismail Haniyeh (Abu al-Abd), head of the political bureau of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas and former Palestinian Prime Minister; who was assassinated in the early hours of Tuesday, July 31, 2024, in Tehran, the capital of Iran, by the criminal and traitor of the Zionist regime in a cowardly and cowardly manner.

Time has proven that the policy of assassinating the leaders and prominent figures of the movement by the occupying regime not only did not disrupt the path of struggle, but also increased the movement’s adherence to the rights of its people, its national ideals, and its steadfast principles, and deepened its roots in the path of resistance and struggle until the day the occupying regime disappears from our land and sanctities.

The life of the martyred leader was full of effort, continuous planning, and activity in the organizational, student, popular, political, and military fields in service to the people and their national cause; from the establishment of the movement following the first intifada in 1987, to going through all stages of struggle and resistance, and the fields of politics and joint national work; From being prime minister to leading the movement’s political bureau, from confronting occupation, exile, siege, and aggression, to his martyrdom far from his homeland, while his heart and soul were in proud Gaza and his spirit was flying in the sky of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

With a heart filled with pain, love, pride, and loyalty, we commemorate the first anniversary of the loss of this great personality and living martyr of Palestine and the nation; we remember his pleasant voice reciting the verses of Aal-e-Imran, Tawbah, and Anfal, his popular presence, and his immortal words: The castles will not fall, the fortresses will not be broken, our positions will not be taken from us, and we will never recognize Israel. We will not forget its enduring roles in the path of our nation, its leadership at a crucial and critical stage, and its confronting challenges with confidence and authority at all stages of the battle with the enemy, until reaching the “Al-Aqsa Storm” and entering the path of negotiations to end the war and aggression against the Gaza Strip.

May God have mercy on the commander of the Mujahideen, Ismail Haniyeh, the great martyr of Palestine and the nation, and all the caravans of martyred commanders on the continuous path of our nation, and may they reside in Paradise alongside the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, who are good companions.

We also pledge with them to continue their path; to adhere to national principles, to defend the land and sanctities, to protect our nation, and to realize its ideals of liberation from occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
