PNN – In a statement, the Hamas movement, while welcoming the approval of the Palestinian nation’s right to self-determination in the United Nations General Assembly, called for practical action by the international community in line with the implementation of these decisions.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Shahab news agency, the statement of the Hamas movement states: We welcome the approval of the United Nations General Assembly resolution by the majority of 172 countries of the world, which approves the right of the Palestinian nation to determine its own destiny.

Hamas emphasized: We ask the international community, the United Nations and its institutions to violate the unjust will of America, to take practical steps to implement these decisions and to put pressure to stop the aggression.
This statement was issued after the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution with an overwhelming majority confirming the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.
According to the voting in the United Nations General Assembly, a total of 172 countries voted in favor of this resolution. While only seven parties, including Israel, the United States, Micronesia, Argentina, Paraguay and Papua New Guinea, opposed it, and eight countries, including Ecuador, Liberia, Togo, Tonga, Panama, Palau, Tuvalu and Kiribati, abstained.
