PNN – The Hamas movement described the Zionist regime as the most dangerous enemy of media freedom and journalists, emphasizing that the impact of journalists is deeper than the bullets of the Zionists.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Shehab News Agency, the Hamas movement, in a statement issued on the occasion of the Day of Loyalty to Palestinian Journalists, declared that the role and impact of these journalists are deeper than the bullets of the occupiers, and the crimes of the Zionist regime will never be able to silence the voice of truth.
The Hamas statement noted that the Day of Loyalty to Palestinian Journalists comes as the Gaza Strip has been subjected to a devastating genocide over the past two years, and in the Zionist attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023, 257 Palestinian journalists have been martyred.

Journalists in Gaza have become military targets; the truth will not be killed.
Hamas stressed that these statistics reveal the nature of the Zionist regime as the most dangerous enemy of media freedom and journalists, because journalists have broadcast the true narrative of the crimes and massacres to the world, lifting the veil on the enemy’s falsehoods and black propaganda.
The movement recalled that December 31 has been designated as the Day of Loyalty to Palestinian Journalists since 2010, on the initiative of the Palestinian government in Gaza, describing this occasion as an opportunity to appreciate the efforts and sacrifices of journalists who stand firm in conveying the truth and establishing the Palestinian narrative.
In the continuation of the statement, Hamas paid tribute to the martyrs of media and truth, wished swift recovery for the wounded, and freedom for the detained journalists. It called on human rights organizations and institutions to continue exposing the crimes of the Zionist regime against journalists and to take immediate action to prosecute the perpetrators of these crimes in international courts.
The movement also called on media outlets and news institutions worldwide to adhere to the professional principles of neutrality, integrity, and honesty, and to avoid republishing the misleading and false narratives of Zionist media regarding what is happening in Gaza and Palestine.
