Hamas: US veto is a green light for Israel to commit more crimes.

The Hamas movement issued a statement saying: “The US veto is an embodiment of the US government’s blind support for the fascist government of the occupying regime and means supporting the regime’s crimes against humanity.”

Expressing regret at the US government’s disregard for international will and international law, Hamas stressed: “The US has shown its disrespect for international law by opposing global efforts to completely stop the bloodshed in Palestine.”

The movement added: “Fourteen out of 15 members of the Security Council supported stopping the genocidal war, but only the US opposed this resolution.”

Referring to the consequences of this action, Hamas warned: “The US position is a green light for the war criminal, Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, to continue the brutal genocide against our people.”

The statement reads: “What the US representative presented during the voting session is a continuation of the policy of distorting reality, inverting it, and denying the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in the resistance.”
