Bassem Naeem wrote on his Facebook account: Among the main clauses of the Witkoff proposal is the cessation of the war, the withdrawal of the occupying enemy troops, and the establishment of a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and we are now waiting for the Zionist regime’s response to it.
Another senior member of the Palestinian groups revealed yesterday in an interview with Al-Mayadeen that the Hamas movement and the Israeli regime are reviewing a document for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which was presented with the cooperation and approval of Steve Whittaker and conveyed by Palestinian-American mediator Bashar al-Bahaf.
He explained that in the document presented, a 60-day ceasefire was proposed with the release of 10 live Israeli prisoners in two installments, while Hamas proposed a 90-day ceasefire with the release of 10 prisoners, five live prisoners and five dead prisoners, but the American side agreed to 70 days.
