Hamas: We are committed to implementing the ceasefire agreement / Our people will never leave the Gaza Strip.
According to Al-Mayadeen, Hamas spokesman Abdel Latif Qanou said that Hamas is fully committed to the agreement, referring to the Zionist regime’s obstruction of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Qanou stated: “We are not seeking the collapse of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and we emphasize the full implementation of the agreement and the necessity for the Zionist regime to adhere to all its provisions.”
He emphasized: “The mediators are pressuring the occupation regime to implement the provisions of the ceasefire agreement fully and to make it adhere to the humanitarian protocol, and they are trying to resume the prisoner exchange process from Saturday.”
The Hamas spokesman stated: “A delegation from the Hamas movement is present in Cairo to examine the obstacles created by the occupation regime and to find solutions for the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement.”
Also, Mahmoud Mardawi, a Hamas leader, told Al-Arabi: “There were guarantees from the beginning, and what we need is for the enemy to adhere to its obligations. Contrary to the occupation regime’s claims, the resistance is committed to the agreement’s text.”
He emphasized, referring to Europe’s support for the positions of Arab countries against the illusions and imaginary plans of US President Donald Trump on Gaza: “There are positive signals, but we want practical steps to convince us that the agreement will be implemented. Displacement and forced relocation will never happen and our people will never leave the Gaza Strip.”
