Hamad also spoke about an assassination attempt on him and the Hamas delegation in Doha during the Israeli attack on September 9, describing his survival as a “miracle.” He accused Israel of targeting negotiators to sabotage the negotiation process.
Referring to the issue of prisoners, Hamad reaffirmed Hamas’ commitment to a comprehensive deal, including the release of all Palestinian prisoners.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to insist that his objectives in Gaza are the release of all Israeli captives, the destruction of Hamas’ capabilities, and ensuring Gaza never again poses a threat to Israel, claiming he will not stop the war until all these goals are achieved.
