PNN – In an interview with Al-Mayadeen, Osama Hamdan reacted to some regional developments, including the wave of recognition of Palestine and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Osama Hamdan, a senior Hamas leader, in an interview with Al-Mayadeen News Agency, called the countries’ move to recognize Palestine “a step in the right direction” and emphasized that this happened as a result of the resistance of the Palestinian people, especially during the Al-Aqsa Storm.
At the same time, he considered these behaviors insufficient and emphasized that what is needed is practical measures, namely stopping the aggression. He noted that these practical measures should not be through imposing a mandate on the Palestinian people, but should be carried out by imposing sanctions on the occupiers.
Hamdan considered the action of some countries in recognizing Palestine to be due to their lack of credibility and dishonor in promoting human values, and emphasized that some governments want to escape the imposition of sanctions against the occupiers through this recognition.
In his conversation with Al-Mayadeen, Hamdan referred to the Israeli regime’s aggression against Qatar in an attempt to assassinate Hamas leaders and emphasized that the movement has not sent any message to US President Donald Trump or others since then.

Recognition of Palestine: a political shift reflecting the failure of Israeli and American policies.
The Zionists are seeking to take control of the region.
The Hamas leader explained that the most important consequence of the Israeli aggression against Qatar is that the occupiers do not recognize any borders or sovereignty.
He considered the West’s pretense of continuing negotiations to be a cover-up of the Zionist crimes in Gaza, and emphasized that it is clear that the occupiers have no intention of a ceasefire. They are trying to buy time, perhaps to achieve the political gains they have failed to achieve during the two years of aggression.
Osama Hamdan emphasized: Anyone who thinks that we will make concessions or that the resistance will weaken is delusional. History confirms that the resistance has not retreated… If Netanyahu thinks that he will achieve victory by occupying the Gaza Strip, he is completely delusional.
He pointed out that the occupiers want to impose their position on neighboring countries, stating that they want to take control of the region; their threats must be taken seriously.
Martyr Nasrallah managed relations between Hamas and Hezbollah
This senior Hamas member went on to refer to the situation in Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the anniversary of the martyrdom of the party’s late Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and said: There is a deep relationship between the Palestinian resistance and the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, which was led by Hezbollah through the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Hamdan continued that the resistance has achieved achievements and that there are hidden achievements that the right time to announce has not yet come.
He explained that the resistance in Palestine has reached an agreement with Hezbollah on three issues: resistance against the Zionist occupation, unity of the nation, and the centrality of Palestine.
Hezbollah’s path will continue
Osama Hamdan mentioned the martyr Sayyed Nasrallah and, noting that “Nasrallah’s absence has had its effect,” added: Of course, we emphasize that the martyrdom of the leaders will not defeat the resistance… The absence of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah places the responsibility of continuing the path of eliminating the regime and liberating the land on the shoulders of all of us.
He added: When you can know yourself well, you can know your enemies, and this was very clear to the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as a leader… We believe that this path will continue under the leadership of Sheikh Naim Qassem and his brothers.
