Harris: Trump is capable of anything to challenge the election results

PNN – US Vice President Kamala Harris said that her Republican rival, Donald Trump, is capable of doing anything to challenge the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from ABC News on Thursday, Democratic Party candidate Harris said in an interview with this news channel that Trump can do anything to challenge the results of the 2024 presidential election. She then added that his legal team is ready for whatever Trump wants to do.

The Democratic Party candidate, who made these statements Wednesday night local time, then continued: “We are unfortunately ready to take action if Trump challenges the results of the election, as she did four years ago.”

She also added: If we know that Trump is manipulating the press and the consensus of the American people based on her imagination and not reality, we are ready to react.

Asked if she was concerned that Trump would again try to interfere with the confirmation of the election results, Harris said: “I don’t know,” she added, adding, “I think he’s capable of doing anything, as she proved on January 6.”

The vice president then explained: None of the presidents of the United States who have lost an election have ever done anything like that, and they didn’t do anything close to what Trump did on January 6th. He encouraged a group to attack the Congress building; an action that led to the injury of 140 police officers and the death of some.

In the end, in response to the host’s question, who asked if he was “preparing himself for something like the January 6 riots,” Harris said that she is focused on winning the election and emphasized that he must win the votes of the American people.

The US presidential election is scheduled to be held on November 5 of this year, and the results of the polls indicate a tight competition between the two candidates of the Democratic and Republican parties, especially in the battleground and swing states.
