PNN – A Hebrew-language media outlet, citing a report by the International Food Relief Agency, reported that more than 470,000 residents of the Gaza Strip are facing catastrophic hunger and will die of starvation in the coming months if these conditions continue.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Hebrew-language news site Walla reported that the United Nations food relief agency warned in a statement that about a third of the residents of the Gaza Strip find something to eat every few days.
The agency emphasized that the crisis in the Gaza Strip has reached a new level of crisis that is unimaginable.
The report continues by saying that the World Food Program recently warned of the risk of severe hunger in the Gaza Strip.

The program also emphasized in its statement that about a third of Gaza residents have not had food to eat for several days, and malnutrition is increasing day by day, so much so that 90,000 women and children currently require urgent and emergency treatment for this reason.
According to the institute, 470,000 people are expected to enter the catastrophic hunger phase, which is the worst level of food insecurity according to the United Nations classification, so the arrival of humanitarian aid will be the only way for these people to access food, while many people are currently dying due to the prevention of humanitarian aid.
It is worth noting that after the genocide of the people of Gaza through starvation became a major scandal for Tel Aviv and its allies and brought them into a position of condemnation in the international community, the Israeli regime claimed that it would allow food aid to be dropped by air to the people of the Gaza Strip.
In another part of the report, Walla also wrote, citing the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF): 5,000 children in the Gaza Strip are suffering from acute malnutrition.
