PNN – A Hebrew-language media outlet claimed that Hamas has taken new steps to strengthen its missile capabilities.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Israeli Kan radio and television channel claimed in a report broadcast on Tuesday evening that Hamas has changed the routes for transporting raw materials for making missiles and is no longer using tunnels and trucks.

According to this Hebrew-language media outlet, Hamas has made a strategic shift in the transfer of raw materials for its weapons production.

They have abandoned the old methods of transportation that used tunnels and trucks and have begun using special containers that float below the sea surface, relying on winter sea conditions.

According to the media outlet, based on the new method, Hamas fighters drop smuggling equipment about five miles off the coast of Sheikh Zuweid in the southern Gaza Strip, taking advantage of sea currents that reach speeds of up to two knots at night. These containers, which float below the sea surface, reach the coasts of Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis within 10 to 14 hours.

Several teams are responsible for managing this transfer, teams in Egypt and Sinai and others operating on the coast of the Gaza Strip; and in this regard, diversionary methods, including drones, are used to engage the Israeli army’s surveillance and interception systems.

The new method Hamas is pursuing allows it to smuggle vital materials for its missiles into the Gaza Strip, such as components that allow it to increase the range, accuracy, and stability of its missiles.

This is a step that represents the recovery of Hamas’ strategic capabilities, despite the difficulties and restrictive conditions it faces.
