Hebrew media: Hezbollah’s power remains intact; we received no response in Syria and Lebanon

Hebrew

PNN – A Hebrew-language media outlet acknowledged that the power of Lebanon’s Hezbollah remains intact and that Tel Aviv’s aggression in Lebanon and Syria has not led to the creation of a “new political order” in the region.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Mayadeen, the Israel News 24 channel acknowledged that Hezbollah’s power in Lebanon is still intact and that the efforts of Thomas Barak, the US envoy to Syria and Lebanon, to disarm the party have not been successful.

The report states that Lebanon does not give any guarantees regarding the disarmament of Hezbollah. Barak also said in his speech yesterday that the United States does not intend to sanction Lebanon. The Americans and the Lebanese know that the government of this country is not capable of disarming Hezbollah. Tel Aviv’s moves in Syria and Lebanon did not lead to the creation of a new political system in the region.

Yesterday, Thomas Barrack, the US envoy to Syria and Lebanon, said in his speech in Beirut: The ceasefire agreement in Lebanon has not been successful.

Regarding Hezbollah’s weapons, he said: Lebanon’s disarmament is an internal issue. If Hezbollah’s disarmament does not take place, there will be no direct consequences or threats, but this issue will be disappointing. We cannot give any guarantees because we cannot force Israel to do anything! We are not currently thinking of sanctioning Lebanese officials.

This is despite the fact that a few days ago, Barack had said in a threatening tone: The American president’s patience in this regard is limited!

He added that it would be a good achievement if the Lebanese government and parliament agreed with Hezbollah to disarm the resistance’s heavy weapons. Weapons that can target the Zionist regime must be put aside!
