Hebrew media: Hundreds of Hamas forces prepare for battle.

The Israeli reporter, referring to the efforts of the Israeli army to monitor Hamas groups that are bombing, emphasized that the daily attacks on Gaza have only damaged a small part of Hamas’ military formation and that hundreds of Hamas forces are ready for battle.

According to ISNA, the Israeli army radio reporter stated on Saturday: “The Israeli army is trying to monitor Hamas-affiliated groups in the Gaza Strip that are planting explosive bombs.”

According to this Israeli source, despite the daily attacks, assessments indicate that these attacks have only damaged a small part of Hamas’ efforts to reorganize its forces and that hundreds of groups are currently preparing in the field to resume clashes with the Israeli army and prepare the area for the entry of military teams.

The source said: “One of the elements of Hamas’s resurgence is the unexploded bombs dropped by the Israeli air force. Estimates indicate that out of the thousands of bombs dropped on Gaza, about one percent did not explode. And even if only one percent of the tens of thousands of munitions dropped by the air force on Gaza did not work, this is equivalent to hundreds of tons of explosives that Hamas could use.”

The Zionist journalist added: “At a certain point, after the Israeli air force realized too late the extent of the potential damage, the army began targeting unexploded bombs, that is, targeting them once again to ensure that they exploded before they fell into the hands of Hamas forces, but this was done too late, and Hamas had already managed to collect large quantities of explosives to use in explosive bombs.”

According to the media source, Hamas, drawing on lessons learned from previous stages of the ground war, set up bomb and minefield ambushes. These mines were among the most dangerous threats the IDF ground forces faced, resulting in the deaths and injuries of many soldiers in the operation.

He continued: “In the recent IDF ground operations in Jabalia and Beit Hanoun, the IDF discovered and defused hundreds of bombs. However, even if only one of every 100 or 200 bombs that are not discovered and defused explodes, it can cause heavy casualties and wipe out our forces.”
