PNN – According to a Hebrew-language media, the Israeli army cannot achieve its goals in Gaza because the two goals that have been declared are the most contradictory to each other.
According to the Pakistan News Network, Haaretz newspaper wrote in a note written by Amos Hareil, the senior analyst of this media: It is not possible for Israel to take the Gaza Strip out of Hamas’s control and inflict a devastating blow on its military and organizational capabilities, and at the same time take more than 250 prisoners.
According to this prominent Zionist media analyst, there is an increasing conflict between these two main goals of the war against Gaza, because the desire of the Israeli army to strike Hamas cannot be reconciled with the efforts made to realize the agreement on the release of prisoners.
According to Ha’aretz notes, Hamas has emphasized that the continuation of the war will harm the efforts made to conduct negotiations and emphasizes that in addition to the prisoner exchange operation, it is seeking a ceasefire and the arrival of fuel, which makes Israel’s goals in this war more difficult.
Hareil also added, quoting knowledgeable sources in the head of staff of the Zionist regime: If the war stops, the possibility of realizing both goals will be impossible. At the same time, even if there are signs of damage to the structure of the Hamas leader, this does not mean that Hamas has disappeared.
However, the Israeli army believes that by increasing the military pressure on Hamas, it will have a better chance to force Hamas to soften in the negotiations regarding the prisoners.
