Hebrew media: War with Iran has ruined reconciliation agreements.

Walla News reported in a report published on Friday that high-ranking officials in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries announced that they are gradually coming to the conclusion that Israel has transformed from a power that could have had the capacity to protect them from the (alleged) threat from Iran into a major factor of instability in the region.

The Hebrew-language media outlet, citing a Western media report, wrote that from the perspective of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Israel, which was once seen as a strong bulwark against the Iranian nuclear threat, has now become, in the eyes of many countries in the region, a power seeking to impose its dominance on the region.

An Arab diplomat described Israel’s aggression against Iran as a bold and unforgivable act and expressed his concerns about its consequences for stability and security in the Middle East.

A senior official in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, who asked not to be named, stressed that Israel’s actions in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and now Iran demonstrate the extent of its ambitions. This approach is not a positive feature in this region, but rather a problem.

Walla News continued by quoting the report, adding: Israel’s behavior raises questions and uncertainties about the future of the Abraham Accords, agreements that were signed to ensure cooperation against Iran but are on the verge of collapse as the signatory countries have concluded that Israel is the main factor in the region’s slide into a dangerous abyss of violence.
