Hebrew Media: Why is it difficult to defeat the Yemenis?

The Yedioth Aharonot newspaper wrote in a report on this matter, “The missile that targeted Ben Gurion Airport today was a significant technological achievement for them, and at the same time it exposed the weaknesses of our defense system.”

The hole that the Houthi missile created at Israel’s international airport is a major achievement for the Houthis. This is the second time that the Israeli defense system has failed to intercept Houthi missiles, while it also benefits from the support and accompaniment of the American THAAD defense system.

According to Ron Ben-Yishai, the main competition at the moment is the war for technical knowledge and technology that is taking place between Israel and its enemies, the results of which are currently being provided to the Yemenis.

The assessment of the Zionist regime’s security and intelligence circles is that today the Yemeni missiles are spread throughout the country and the tribes of this country are firing them at Israel in a mobile manner, which has made it difficult for various institutions to monitor it because the firing is taking place from all parts of Yemeni territory.

From the perspective of Israeli officials, one of the reasons for Tel Aviv’s inability to confront this Yemeni capacity is that they have been conducting their operations in a decentralized manner for a long time, spread over a wide area of Yemeni territory, agents and firing units are very scattered and diverse, and given that Yemen is very weak in terms of computer and internet infrastructure, the possibility of collecting information from them is also very small. This has led to the fact that, despite the passage of more than a month and a half since the US military attacks, the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab sea passages are still at the disposal of this group.

According to this media outlet, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced this morning after the missile attack from Yemen, “Anyone who attacks us will suffer seven times the blow.”

But if Israel seeks to implement this threat, it faces a complex dilemma. First: What is the purpose of this response? Is it possible to achieve it?
