Hebrew newspaper: Severe economic recession threatens Israel

PNN – A Hebrew-language newspaper has admitted to the aftershocks of the war against the Gaza Strip even after two years.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Shihab News Agency, the Hebrew newspaper Calcalist reported that the labor market in the occupied territories is facing a severe recession amid a declining economic index since the start of the war.

The report stated that a review of wages in the occupied territories clearly reflects the economic crisis affecting the core of the Israeli regime.

It further emphasized that average wages and incomes, as well as the workforce in the high-tech sector, have decreased. This decline targets one of the main pillars of Israel’s economic growth. Technology companies are facing evident investment stagnation and increasing financial tensions.
