Helicopter crashes into a hospital building in Türkiye, killing 4.
At least four people have died after a helicopter crashed into a hospital in southwestern Turkey, according to Reuters.
The helicopter crashed into the fourth floor of the hospital during takeoff, Mugla provincial governor Idris Akbek said. The two pilots, a doctor and a hospital staff member who were on board the helicopter at the time of the crash were killed.
He said “heavy fog” was the cause of the crash and authorities were investigating the exact cause.
The incident came two weeks after six soldiers were killed when two helicopters collided during an army training flight in the southwestern province of Isparta.
