Hezbollah: Haitham Ali al-Tabtabaei was martyred in the Israeli regime’s attack.
According to Lebanon’s Al-Manar network, Hezbollah issued an official statement on Sunday night announcing the martyrdom of its major jihadist commander, Haitham Ali al-Tabtabaei (Sayyed Abu Ali), adding that he was martyred following an Israeli airstrike on the “Harat Harik” area in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
At the beginning of its statement, Hezbollah cited this verse from the Holy Quran: “Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God; some were martyred, and some are still waiting, and they never changed their covenant.” The movement proudly and proudly introduced Tabtabaei as one of the greatest jihadi commanders who spent his life in the cause of resistance, defending Lebanon, and confronting the Zionist enemy.
On Sunday evening, the Zionist regime targeted a residential apartment on Al-Areed Street in the southern suburbs of Beirut in an airstrike, causing widespread destruction and damage to nearby shops.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stressed that the Israeli attack on the southern suburbs, coinciding with Independence Day, is a new reason for the regime’s disregard for repeated calls to stop aggression against Lebanon and its opposition to the implementation of international resolutions, all efforts and proposals to prevent the escalation of tensions and restore stability not only in Lebanon but also in the entire region.
He called on the international community to fulfill its responsibility and take serious and decisive action to stop the Zionist regime’s aggression.
