PNN – The deputy chairman of Lebanon’s Hezbollah political council announced that the movement’s forces on the front lines have confronted Israeli attacks and prevented their advance, and that the resistance is close to achieving its liberation goals.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Mahmoud Qamati, former minister and deputy chairman of Hezbollah’s political council, said in an interview with Arabi21: Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon are on the front lines confronting Israeli aggression and have prevented its advance and destroyed several tanks and military vehicles, while resistance missiles continue to target the north of the occupied territories.
He added that the resistance has begun the process of liberating the five points that the Israeli army has established on Lebanese soil.
Qamati emphasized that Hezbollah is close to achieving its liberation goals and will not stop until it achieves the goal of liberating the land, freeing prisoners, and ending violations of Lebanese sovereignty.
He said: The patience of the Lebanese people will ultimately lead to victory, freedom, and sovereignty.
Regarding the developments in the war in Lebanon and Iran, the deputy head of Hezbollah’s political council also stated that all options are open, but what is important for the resistance in Lebanon is the liberation of the country, the realization of sovereignty, the release of prisoners, and the return of residents to their villages and homes.
He added that the resistance is “punishing the enemy” that has not adhered to international decisions.
Qamati also said that after the war, Hezbollah will participate in drawing up a defense strategy with the participation of the government and the army, and with the support of the Lebanese people, so that a strong and just government will be formed.
Qamati emphasized that Iran has won through its steadfastness, because according to US President Donald Trump, there is no longer any goal left to achieve in Iran, and Benjamin Netanyahu is also moving from place to place within Israel.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah had previously announced that it had carried out 14 operations against gatherings, military bases, and settlements located in the north of the occupied territories.
Hezbollah emphasized in separate statements that these operations were carried out in response to Israel’s criminal aggression against dozens of Lebanese cities and villages and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
According to a statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, Israeli attacks since March 2 have killed more than 773 people, including 103 children, and injured 1,933 others, including 326 children.
