Hezbollah’s response to Le Figaro’s claim about the revelation of “Operation Northern Storm” was dismissive, calling it pure fiction and biased towards the Zionist regime.
The public relations of the Hezbollah movement in Lebanon reacted to the claim of the French newspaper Figaro regarding “Operation Storm of the Exalted” and described it as a “pure and baseless fantasy” to undermine the trust between the resistance movements.
Figaro claimed in a report by “Georges Malbruno” that “a source close to the leadership of Hamas in Jordan” said that “Yahya al-Sinwar,” the leader of Hamas in Gaza, had requested half an hour before the start of the attack at six thirty in the morning on October 7th (15th of Mehr), in a phone call with “Saleh al-Arouri,” the deputy head of the political office of Hamas in Lebanon, to go to see Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and inform him.
Hamas also denied the French media’s claim yesterday that it had put Hezbollah in the picture an hour before the operation, and considered the information published in Figaro’s report to be full of lies and in line with the interests of the Israeli enemy.
According to Al-Nashra, Hezbollah Lebanon, by recalling the first public reaction of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah Lebanon, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, to Operation Storm of the Exalted, declared that what Figaro had raised was a lie and a sign of complete bias in favor of the Zionist enemy, as well as an unprofessional move and a sign of the moral downfall of this media, like other Western media that have taken the side of the oppressor, murderer, and aggressor and ignored human values and realities.
Nasrallah had previously stated that he was not informed about this attack and that the operation was completely Palestinian from its planning, preparation, execution, and timing to its goals. He described the complete secrecy of this operation as the key to its remarkable success through surprise, and said that “today this operation has expanded on more than one front and arena.”
