Homs Alawite leaders call for judicial punishment of perpetrators of recent desecration.
According to the Russia Today website, the Alawite elders in the Syrian province of Homs stated the recent incidents and unrest in this province in central Syria.
The statement emphasized the need for judicial accountability for the perpetrators of the recent desecration of the first Alawite authority and also called on the people to maintain their peace.
The Alawite sheiks of Homs emphasized the need to refrain from chanting ethnic slogans and to hand over all weapons in the possession of citizens to the relevant parties within 5 days.
It is worth noting that, following the desecration of the post of Sheikh al-Khasibi, the first Alawite authority in the world, by terrorists and the burning of this place, widespread demonstrations began in Homs and other Syrian cities with a mixed Alawite population.
