How many governments around the world have recognized the state of Palestine so far?

PNN – In light of Western countries’ efforts to recognize the state of Palestine, the number of governments that have taken this path has increased.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sputnik, yesterday the world witnessed an exceptional event, namely the recognition of the State of Palestine by four countries: Canada, Australia, England and Portugal. Palestinian circles considered this move important, and Zionist authorities reacted negatively to it.

Some other countries, such as France, Malta, and Belgium, have also promised to recognize the State of Palestine during the UN General Assembly meetings.

Thus, 151 countries out of 193 UN members have recognized the state of Palestine so far, and according to Al Jazeera, this number will increase to 159. This is while the United States, using its veto in 2024, prevented Palestine from becoming a full member of the UN.
