According to the report, a number of Palestinian police forces trained in Egypt are also expected to participate in managing the crossing.

The network continued that with this action, control of the Rafah crossing will fall into the hands of the Palestinian Authority.

The Rafah crossing is set to open based on the ceasefire agreement reached between Hamas and the Israeli regime. The repeated closure of the Rafah crossing, a vital artery of the Gaza Strip, over the past two years has caused many problems for the residents of the strip.
