The report states that after turning border areas in southern Lebanon into ruins, the Israeli army is seeking to prevent the reconstruction of these areas and the return of their residents.
Human Rights Watch emphasized that Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon have destroyed 360 pieces of heavy machinery used for reconstruction, as well as a cement and asphalt production facility.
The international organization stressed that no evidence has been found indicating the presence of military objectives in or around the areas targeted by the Israeli army. This comes as the Israeli army consistently claims that it targets infrastructure and positions affiliated with Hezbollah in Lebanon.
