Human Rights Watch: Killing Palestinians in food lines is a “war crime”
Human Rights Watch acknowledged the Zionist regime’s actions in killing the Palestinian people and committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip, and announced that the killing of Palestinians in lines receiving food aid is a clear example of this crime.
The organization added in a report that the Zionist army, with the support of the United States and in cooperation with contractors, has created an inefficient and flawed military system for distributing humanitarian aid in Gaza, which, instead of easing the situation, has turned into repeated bloodbaths.
Human Rights Watch stressed that the current catastrophic humanitarian situation is a direct result of Israel’s use of the policy of starvation of civilians as a weapon of war. The organization also considered the continued deprivation of the people of Gaza of vital aid as a crime against humanity and genocide.
The report states that the world must increase its pressure on the Zionist regime to lift the illegal and comprehensive restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
Human Rights Watch also called on the United States and the Zionist regime to immediately suspend the flawed aid distribution system in Gaza to protect civilian lives.
