PNN – Following the emergence of a new crisis within the Israeli military, hundreds of officers have submitted their resignations immediately.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the newspaper Israel Hayom, the decision by the Israeli Supreme Court to halt the privileges granted by the army’s Chief of Staff has intensified the internal crisis within the military.

According to the report, nearly 600 officers and non-commissioned personnel in the Israeli army have submitted their immediate resignations out of fear of losing their privileges following the Supreme Court’s ruling.
The report adds that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to hold a special meeting today to address the crisis. Military commanders had refrained from engaging in the matter amid the ongoing war, but after the court’s decision, many Israeli soldiers became angered and announced that they would reconsider remaining in the army.
Many Israeli servicemen are dissatisfied with their financial conditions in the military and, in recent years, had been relying on the privileges granted by the Chief of Staff.
