Idlib residents’ anger over al-Julani prisons; possibility of mass graves.
According to Al-Ma’uluma, informed sources announced that the residents of Idlib, which has been the location of elements of the terrorist organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in Syria for many years, are angry about the unknown fate of more than 200 detainees in the organization’s prisons.
They stated that after al-Jolani took control of Damascus, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham no longer had an excuse to keep the detainees, some of whom had been in prison for three years. It is also said that these prisoners may have been executed by terrorist elements and buried in secret mass graves.
Informed sources added that al-Jolani is against announcing the fate of hundreds of prisoners in Tahrir al-Sham prisons, which could cause a rift in the most important headquarters of this terrorist organization.
It should be noted that Tahrir al-Sham has a large number of prisons and detention centers in Idlib and its suburbs, where hundreds of people are being held.
