PNN – As the second administration of US President Donald Trump passes, more Americans who are against his policies and approach in running this country and his allies, including Elon Musk, come to the streets in different groups to express their objections to Trump’s executive orders.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, CNN announced that a rally was held outside the US Congress building in Washington DC in a demonstration organized by the so-called 50501 movement and other groups.
Participants in the protest chanted “Together Forever, Makes Our Unions Stronger” and held signs that read “Immigrants Make America Great.”
Virginia-based Jacqui Olkin, who works at a private immigrant aid organization, told CNN that US lawmakers have been “disturbingly silent” in response to Trump.

The 50501 movement (short for “50 protests, 50 states, in one day”) is a grassroots movement created to organize opposition to the policies and actions of the second Trump administration.
Evan Baich, a retired Maryland school teacher, described the current developments in America as a horror story.
Baich, who came to America at the age of 11, says that since then he has fought to preserve the democratic system of government.
The executive orders of the new Republican President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, in the first two weeks of his presidency, from immigration to trade, are provoking people’s anger and uniting them to form popular protests across the country, considering their negative consequences on the lives of Americans.
A movement to oppose the initial actions of President Donald Trump’s administration, including protests across the United States, has been formed online.
This movement is organized with the hashtags build the resistance and 50501 (build the resistance and 50501), which stands for 50 protests in 50 states in one day. Many protests are planned in state buildings and some in other cities.
The movement has websites and accounts across social media. The online ads denounce Project 2025 as a far-right prescription for American government and society, with messages such as “opposing fascism” and “defending our democracy.”
