According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, referring to his telephone consultation with Iranian President Masoud Pezishkiyan, wrote on his official account on the X program: I spoke with President Masoud Pezishkiyan and congratulated him on Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz. We expressed our hope that these auspicious days will bring peace, stability and prosperity to the West Asian region.
Without referring to the aggressive attack by the US and the Zionist regime on Iranian soil, he continued: I condemn attacks on critical infrastructure in the region that threaten regional stability and disrupt global supply chains.
The Indian Prime Minister added: I emphasized the importance of maintaining freedom of navigation and ensuring that sea lanes remain open and safe.
Modi also wrote: I expressed my appreciation for Iran’s continued support in ensuring the safety and security of Indian nationals in Iran.
