India deploys Apache-64 attack helicopters at the Pakistan border.
Indian military officials said Tuesday night that they are planning to deploy American-made Apache-64 attack helicopters at the border with Pakistan.

News sources reported Tuesday night that the Indian army is trying to strengthen the border lines with Pakistan by deploying combat helicopters.

According to the news agency “Inni News”, the Indian army intends to deploy combat helicopters of the “Apache-64” type on the western border with Pakistan.

Indian military officials have stated that the first series of these American-made helicopters, which are expected to enter India during February and March, are to be stationed at the “Jodhpur” air bases.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has stated that the country is not seeking war with India and is trying to resolve remaining differences with its neighboring country.

“Shahbaz Sharif,” the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, said that war is not an option, and Islamabad is ready to negotiate with India to address all remaining issues.

Sharif said: “We are ready to talk with everyone, even with our neighbor India, provided that this neighboring country is willing to discuss serious issues because war is no longer an option.”

According to this report, since 1947 and after the independence of India and Pakistan from British colonial rule, India and Pakistan have fought three times. In the latest confrontation, 9,000 Pakistani soldiers were killed, and more than 25,000 were wounded.

India also suffered four thousand casualties. This war led to the demarcation of the “Line of Control” in the Kashmir region, under which the state of “Jammu and Kashmir” centered on the city of “Srinagar” came under India’s control, and the mountainous areas with a smaller population came under Pakistan’s control.

The Indian Air Force has now stationed 22 squadrons of Apache helicopters on its western and northern borders. Indian officials have also stated that 50 pilots have been trained in the United States to operate these helicopters. India believes that having these American helicopters will increase the country’s defensive capabilities.

Pakistan has also begun to acquire Chinese fighter jets, the “J-10.” Pakistan announced in 2021 that it has received 25 J-10 aircraft from China.
