Indonesian official: 91 people still trapped under rubble of boarding school

PNN – Indonesian authorities say more than 90 people are still trapped under the rubble, two days after a school building collapsed in the country.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing France 24, two days after a boarding school building collapsed in East Java, Indonesia, about 91 people are still trapped under the rubble.

The multi-story building of this Islamic school located in the city of Sidoarjo suddenly collapsed on Monday while students were praying.

A spokesman for Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency said that based on information related to the number of students, 91 people are likely under the rubble of the building.

It was previously announced that three people were killed in the incident and 38 people are still missing.
