PNN – Indonesian President Joko Widodo announced on Saturday that the extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is considered important as an effort to stop the attacks of the Zionist regime on Palestine.
According to Pakistan News Network, citing Antara, in this summit, the leaders of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will discuss the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
Joko Widodo said before departing for Riyadh from Juanda International Airport in Sidwarjo, East Java: “In this meeting, I will ask for an immediate ceasefire and the creation of more space for the provision of humanitarian aid.”
The President of Indonesia is scheduled to travel to the United States on November 12 from Riyadh to meet with his American counterpart, Joe Biden.

According to this report, the meeting between Jokowi and Biden is a good opportunity to reflect Indonesia’s decisive position on Gaza.
Jokowi noted that this meeting is a good opportunity to directly convey the results of the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Riyadh, which shows the solidarity of the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to defend justice.
Jokowi and his delegation are supposed to travel from Washington to San Francisco with the aim of participating in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit.
According to this report, sustainable development and inclusive development are two important issues that Indonesia is going to discuss in the economic organization consisting of 21 member countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Jokowi is also scheduled to participate in several meetings and bilateral meetings with business owners during the summit, which will be held from November 11 to 17 in San Francisco.
