According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Antara news agency, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi emphasized at a special meeting of the Indonesian-African Parliamentary Assembly (IAPF) in Bali that Parliaments can share experiences and best practices in developing policies to address global challenges, including ending the aggression and genocide in Palestine.

He added: In the case of Palestine, parliaments play a vital role by using parliamentary networks to create international public pressure to end aggression and genocide in Palestine, support humanitarian aid and promote a two-state solution.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia added: Parliaments are not only legislative institutions, but also act as a bridge between people’s aspirations and public policies.

He emphasized the expansion of cooperation between regions and said: There is a lot of capacity for cooperation in various sectors such as health and food security, trade and investment, energy and mining, as well as development cooperation, which has not yet been used.
