According to Al Jazeera, informed sources told this news network that the current round of indirect ceasefire negotiations in Gaza, which was held in Cairo between the resistance groups and the Zionist regime with the mediation of Egypt, ended without reaching an agreement.

According to this report, the Israeli delegation has rejected Hamas’ request for a permanent ceasefire and the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza, and the unconditional return of Palestinian refugees to their homes in different parts of Gaza.

Sources report that mediators in Cairo tried to bridge the gap between Hamas and the Zionist regime’s demands to reach an agreement, but were unsuccessful in this regard.

In this regard, a senior Hamas official told Reuters news agency that the Zionist regime failed all the mediators’ efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement.

This senior Hamas official announced that the Zionist regime is against stopping and invading Gaza withdrawing from this area and guaranteeing the freedom of humanitarian aid and the return of refugees.
