PNN – The Israeli embassy in Japan refused to receive a statement from survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, in which the attacks on Iran were condemned.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The Israeli embassy in Japan refused to accept a collective statement from survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, in which the Zionist-American attacks on Iran were condemned.

The statement, signed by several “hibakusha” (nuclear bomb survivors), called for an immediate halt to the war against Iran and condemned the use of force in international conflicts.

The group of survivors, themselves victims of the most horrific nuclear attacks in history, stressed in their statement that no purpose can justify the massacre of children and civilians.

According to local sources, when representatives of this group tried to deliver the statement to the Israeli embassy, its officials refused to accept it and announced that they would not receive such a statement.

This incident occurs as the war against Iran enters its fifth week and Zionist-American airstrikes on Iranian military and civilian infrastructure continue.

Survivors of the Japanese atomic bombing, who have been known as voices of peace in the world for years, have previously taken a stand against various wars, including the Gaza war.

This refusal by the Israeli embassy in Tokyo has been met with widespread reactions on Japanese social media, with many users calling the action a “sign of fear of the truth” and “disrespect for the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”

The refusal has been widely criticized by peace organizations in Japan. Nobuaki Kato, a professor at Waseda University and peace activist, said: The refusal to hear the voices of atomic bomb survivors is an insult to all victims of war and weapons of mass destruction.

Japan’s Foreign Ministry has also announced that it will look into the matter.
