PNN – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry emphasized, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, that the Zionists have martyred 33,000 Palestinian women and girls during the two years of genocide in Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Arabi 21, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women that 33,000 women and girls have been martyred in the Palestinian territories in the past two years as a result of the Zionist regime’s attack on Gaza, which is considered one of the most severe forms of discrimination and oppression against women in the contemporary world.
In a statement issued by the ministry, it was stated that over the past two years, the Zionist regime has launched genocide in Gaza, which ended with a ceasefire last month. At the same time, the Zionists have also intensified their aggression in the occupied West Bank, which has resulted in the martyrdom of tens of thousands of Palestinians.

On the other hand, the Gaza government’s media office also announced that Tel Aviv has martyred more than 12,500 women and more than 20,000 children during the two years of genocide in the Gaza Strip, which is part of the total of 69,000 martyrs.
Also, official Palestinian institutions report the martyrdom of 1,080 Palestinians as a result of Zionist attacks on the West Bank during this period.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that the Zionist occupying regime commits systematic crimes against Palestinian women, including genocide, summary executions, forced abduction, arbitrary detention, torture and sexual violence, and starvation and intimidation.
The statement added that the Zionist attacks have also targeted health infrastructure, including hospitals and clinics for women, especially reproductive and mental health services, and support centers, depriving thousands of women of access to basic services.
The ministry emphasized that the Israeli regime uses surveillance tools and advanced technology, including artificial intelligence and electronic espionage, to target and intimidate the Palestinian people, especially women.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry also emphasized the need to continue the international movement to end the Zionist regime’s colonial occupation, implement the two-state solution, and realize the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to self-determination and return.
The International Court of Justice adopted its advisory opinion in July 2024 on the illegality of the Israeli occupation and the call for its end without delay.
Previously, human rights organizations, including Amnesty International, had emphasized that the international community’s failure to implement international resolutions and the recommendations of the Court of Justice contributed to the Zionist regime’s disregard for international law and supported its impunity.
