Interrogator of Yahya al-Sanwar: He will fight until the last bullet

PNN – An officer of Israel’s internal security organization (Shabak), who interrogated Yahya al-Sanwar during his captivity, told remarkable facts about him.

According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, 64 days have passed since the war in Gaza, since the beginning of the war, the Israeli authorities have repeatedly said that one of their goals is to assassinate Hamas leader Yahya al-Sanwar in Gaza, even Netanyahu recently claimed that the Israeli military surrounded his house.

In this regard, Michael Kobe, an officer of Israel’s Internal Security Organization (Shabak), who was once an interrogator of Yahya al-Sanwar in Israeli prisons, told CNN that he knows al-Sanwar better than his mother and knows that he will not surrender.

The Israeli interrogator said in this interview: “When [at that time] I asked Yahya al-Sanwar that you are now 28-29 years old, why don’t you get married?” Don’t you want to start a family? He answered: Hamas is my wife and child; Hamas is everything to me.

In 1988, Yahya al-Sanwar was sentenced to life imprisonment four times on the charge of killing two Israeli soldiers and four Palestinian traitors, as well as forming a military group against Israel, until in 2011, he was exchanged with a thousand other Palestinians for the release of Gilead.

“Michael Kobe” said in another interview to Hebrew-language public radio: “I know Yahya Al-Sanwar very well. He is a stubborn and determined man with a firm faith and believes in the necessity of destroying Israel. Surrender has no place in his dictionary and he will fight to the last bullet.”

According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi website, Israeli sources have written in the description of this Hamas leader: “He is the only person in Palestine who determines whether to reach an agreement. He heads a small group of experienced and veteran members of the Hamas military wing, including his brother Muhammad, Mardaun Issa and Muhammad al-Deef, who promote Hamas’ priorities”.

According to Israeli media, Hamas leaders outside Gaza are mainly responsible for conveying messages from other countries to Sinwar and his forces in Gaza.

Al-Quds al-Arabi, citing Israeli media, wrote: “Al-Sinwar follows a rigid line in his requests, but some sources claim that he was flexible in his positions (when obtaining the prisoner exchange agreement) despite believing that achieved a great and historic victory over Israel on October 7. It seems that some of the recent events were involved in this, including the displacement of one million people from the north of the Gaza Strip to the south, the wave of assassinations of senior leaders of Hamas, and the difficulties that the military arm is facing under the pressure of the army.

According to the Israeli media, Yahya al-Sanwar’s brothers were born in Khan Yunis, as well as Muhammad al-Dzaif, and they most likely left this area after the Israeli army’s ground entry into northern Gaza.

“Benyamin Netanyahu” also claimed three days ago that the Israeli soldiers surrounded the house of Yahya al-Sanwar. He claimed that the Israeli army will arrest him sooner or later.

But “Nahum Barnia”, a military and political analyst in Yediot Aharonot newspaper, mocked Netanyahu’s claims and wrote: “The bragging about the army besieging Al-Sanwar’s house is a story that the prime minister tells us; The war continues fiercely and every day we suffer casualties as a result of Hamas attacks or internal fire.”
