PNN – The American channel “NBC News” announced the meeting of a group of US Senate Democrats with a number of officials of the Zionist regime, emphasizing the increase in critics of the US government who oppose Joe Biden’s approach to the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
According to Pakistan News Network’s report on Tuesday from this news channel, in an important meeting that was held on Monday evening with the presence of at least 10 Democratic senators with senior officials of the Zionist regime army in the Capitol building (Congress building), important issues regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza were discussed.
According to this report, Senator Brian Schatz, one of the participants in this meeting, described the words of the American side as “frank and blunt”.
This meeting was not confidential, but the senators kept the details of the discussion confidential and the officials of the Zionist regime did not comment on it.
The meeting was held as a growing number of Senate Democrats expressed concern over the civilian casualties and destruction of Palestinian property in Gaza as a result of Israel’s brutal operations.

Senator Bernie Sanders, the progressive senator of the Senate, questioned the sending of $14 billion in unconditional aid to the Zionist regime, pointing out that any US aid to the Zionist regime must be under certain conditions.
He stated: “The American people are concerned about the high number of women and children who have been killed so far.”
Sanders previously called for making aid to Israel conditional on a series of factors including “an end to indiscriminate bombing,” “a halt to settlement expansion” and “a commitment to comprehensive peace talks for a two-state solution.”
Senator Chris Van Hollen, who was present at the meeting, recently sent a letter to US President Joe Biden in which he stressed that compliance with the laws of war is “absolutely necessary” for Israel.
The letter, signed by 26 senators, asks the US government to provide more information about US priorities regarding the Zionist regime and Gaza, as well as the White House’s assessment of the regime’s military strategy.
Lawmakers are set to decide on the White House’s request for more US aid to Israel and Ukraine.
It should be noted that last month, Biden asked the Congress to provide more than 61 billion dollars to Ukraine and more than 14 billion dollars to the Zionist regime.
