PNN – The Dutch government announced that it will invest 400 million euros ($432 million) in the production of combat vehicles for Ukraine.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Reuters, the Dutch government said on Friday that it is cooperating with Denmark in this project to produce CV90 combat vehicles.
These armored vehicles, most of which are produced in the Netherlands, have anti-tank capabilities and are manufactured by BAE Systems.
The Dutch government also said it would invest 54 million euros in the production of drones for its armed forces and 25 million euros in a fund to help establish defense industry companies.
The Netherlands is one of the supporters of Kiev, which has signed a 10-year security agreement with Ukraine.
Westerners plan to help Ukraine through bilateral military agreements before joining NATO.
Western officials have promised that Ukraine will eventually join NATO. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Ukraine will join NATO and more support from this country is coming.
In this regard, a number of NATO member countries have signed 10-year agreements and the members of this organization have agreed to establish a representative office in Ukraine.
