PNN – A Senior Israeli official said Iran and Lebanon’s Hezbollah could keep Israel on alert for a long time.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, a senior official of the Zionist regime told the Zionist newspaper “Yediot Aharnot” this Sunday: Iran and Hezbollah can keep Israel on alert for a long time and put Israeli public opinion under psychological pressure and worry.

At the same time, he said: Israel can use this time (time period for Iran and Hezbollah to respond) in order to advance the exchange agreement [prisoners between the Zionist regime and the Palestinian resistance] to calm all fronts.

The senior official of the Zionist regime also said about the vindictive response of the resistance axis to the assassination of martyrs Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, and Fawad Shekar, the senior commander of the Lebanese Hezbollah, that this regime will respond with force to any major damage inflicted on it.

Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas, was assassinated and martyred by the Zionist regime on Wednesday morning, who had come to Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of the president of Masoud Pezishkiyan.

One day before the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, one of the senior commanders of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Fawad Shekar was martyred in a terrorist attack by the Zionist regime in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

After the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh and Fawad Shekar, the authorities and senior officials of the resistance axis announced that they will avenge the blood of these martyrs from the Zionist regime.

According to Ma’ariv newspaper, the authorities of the Zionist regime, fearing the response of Iran and Hezbollah, have opened shelters and are on full alert.
