PNN – The deputy foreign ministers of Iran and Oman held a joint meeting to discuss the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, on Saturday, April 4, 2026, the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran held a meeting at the level of deputy foreign ministers of the two countries, with the presence of experts from both sides, in which possible options for ensuring smooth passage through the Strait of Hormuz in these regional conditions were discussed.

According to the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, experts from both sides presented a number of views and suggestions that will be considered.
